We’re back for our 6th annual parade watch party on St. Charles Ave! Join us for three nights of festivities as we celebrate everything we love about New Orleans (and how the city shows love right back).


About Us

Atypical is a collective dedicated to curating vibrant social environments for curious and creative young professionals. From dynamic popup marketplaces to spirited late-night gatherings, we design experiences that engage and captivate our forward-thinking audience.

We offer moments that inspire and delight people, and our goal is to help these feelings extend to the brands we work with. Our events and their sponsors work together to satisfy locals (and New Orleans lovers) who enjoy living fully, dancing like no one’s watching, and being on the cutting edge of quality.

This year’s event

Atypical House remains the only venue for young local artists on the Uptown parade route. The 3-day popup at St. Charles & MLK is a space for socializing and catching throws before the weekend. The curated event includes DJ sets, a fully stocked bar, two clean bathrooms, local art, and food options.

This year, we’ll champion our love for New Orleans and what we love about it: the people, the culture, and the spirit. We’ll be showcasing the magic of the best city on earth during the biggest party in the world.

This year, we’ve added partnership options outside of our usual sponsorship levels. These can take place of other sponsor perks or be added on to any level of sponsorship until claimed. Opportunities include:

Playlist collaboration [CLAIMED]: Co-brand our curated playlist that features local and native New Orleans artists [check out Atypical House 2022 with DNO]

Commemorative products: Help produce keepsakes featuring “love letter” heart design (ex. t-shirts, reusable cups/tumblers, bottle openers)

Branded disposables: Put your logo on napkins, cups, stickers, etc.

DJ set livestreams: Get extra prominence in video recordings of headliner DJ sets every night. (Sets would be partially livestreamed with full videos uploaded after)

Street-style interviews: Local influencers interview guests & featured creatives
