Atypical New Year's Eve: Hosted alongside the illustrious DJ G-Cue & sponsored by Courvoisier Cognac and Effen Vodka. It's the last dance of the year, and the first chance to set the tone for 2018 with your favorite people. The night included premium open bar, buffet, photo booth, and midnight champagne toast.

A space unbothered by time, where we find the rhythms that live inside us all. A well-kept rendezvous point for the unpretentious, Havana’s Garden mixes the sounds of today with Latin-Caribbean vibes perfect for the dance floor. DIVE INN: A pool party for the vibrant eccentrics of New Orleans! Held at a secret location with ample space and luxury, guests escaped to our urban oasis for a unique poolside experience .  [PICS]

Since our first event in July of 2016, we've had a string of (A)typical ideas come into fruition. From a Cuban-inspired garden party to live-scoring some of our favorite movies, we continue to deliver spaces where people can connect comfortably and enjoy something fresh.

#UptownGetDown was a late-night dance social. Guests came and grooved with us and our favorite DJs into the wee hours. This series pops up every so often, but you'll have to follow our instagram feed to stay in the loop.

For Halloween, we had an invite-only costume party at a black-owned art gallery in Uptown New Orleans. We suggested people wear costumes as we took over 100 Polaroid pictures for guests to take home. It was a very (a)typical evening.

(A)typical joined forces with KINEAUX to present the iconic films "Paid in Full" and “Juice.” The double feature was screened at Trèo with a live soundtrack performance courtesy of one of NOLA’s finest selectors: DJ G-Cue.

We helped Goofy Froot celebrate a successful Kickstarter with a wrap party. The night offered free beer, good people, and discounted goofy merch. Half of the proceeds on merch were donated to the Water Protectors at Standing Rock.
